In English III, we focus on the 21st century student's cultural history through the study of criticism, Romanticism, Modernism, and Postmodernism in England and the United States. It replaces the traditional American Literature Junior curriculum and the 12th grade British literature, laying a foundation for EBRATS' senior English study of world literature through independent projects.
Please visit the calendar page for due dates on current projects. Check back soon to see the "Romanticism Art Show," a collection of projects from this unit, ranging from visual representations of quotations, Keats' "pinch" urns, and video presentation of outside reading inquiry projects to answer the question, "What is Romantic?"
